Ribbon Blinder

RIBBON BLENDER is a horizontal mixer to mix dry powder. Diameter, pitch and width of helical ribbons are such that perfect distribution of even small quantities added is effected and the homogeneity of the final product is assured. The design of the outer and inner ribbons are such that the powders are subjected to rotary motion as well as horizontal linear motion in opposite directions results in prefect blending. Machine is fabricated from stationary U trough with welded end plates. Shaft is supported with heavy-duty bearings and stuffing box. Ribbons are bolted on arms while arms are bolted on shaft so that they can be dismantled and cleaned easily.
