Through this specialized milling concept, product grinding is entirely autogenously. Gas jets alone create the grinding energy. No tool wear occurs. An integrated dynamic air classifier in the housing can be infinitely adjusted to the desired fineness. This guarantees exact adjustment of the grinding parameters and reproducible product quality.
Even the hardest of products poses no problem for this machine. In addition, extremely temperature sensitive products such as wax can be processed under continuous operation. |

The Principle Of Operation |
Pressurized Air or inert gas is injected through specially designed grinding nozzles directly into the grinding chamber of the Mill. It creates a sonic or supersonic grinding stream. Material is feed in to the grinding chamber of the mill by variable control feeding system.
The agitation provided by the grinding chamber and nozzle design cause particles to become entrained in the air or inert gas stream. Particle size reduction is accomplished by high velocity collisions between particles. Fine particles are then swept towards the classifier which rotates at high speed above the grinding chamber. The speed of the classifier is controlled by variable frequency drive (VFD). Material which is fluidized fine enough to overcome the inertial force generated by the classifier escapes the Grinding Chamber of the mill and is collected as product. Oversized particles are recycled by the classifier back into the grinding chamber for further reduction. |
